How can I provide visitors access to a public spotting area?
After creating a public spotting area, the ecosystem admins have to configure the permissions per type of user, i.e., visitors, ecosystem members, and portfolio members, in order to provide access to the public spotting areas.
To configure the access to public spotting areas for the visitors, follow the next steps.
navigate to the Ecosystem Admin panel.
click on “Members & Permissions” under “Ecosystem Configuration”
scroll down to the section “Accessible data,”
enable the spotting areas that are publicly visible by typing in the title of that spotting area in the “search for a spotting area” bar.
Public configured spotting areas indicated by an “eye“ symbol. This means these spotting areas are visible to visitors and ecosystem members. On the other hand, private configured spotting areas are represented by an ”invisible eye“ symbol, which means these spotting areas are not visible to visitors and ecosystem members.
