How to remove or archive a spotting area?
Managing your Spotting Areas (SPAs) is essential for keeping your workspace organized and ensuring that only relevant data is visible.
Step 1: Accessing the Spotting Area Management Options
You can access the options to archive or remove a Spotting Area from two different places:
From the Start Screen:
On the start screen, locate the Spotting Area (SPA) that you want to manage.
Look for the settings button on the right-hand side of the SPA listing.
Click on this settings button to open the management options.
From Within the Spotting Area:
If you are already inside a Spotting Area, locate the settings button on the right-hand side of the screen.
Click on the settings button to bring up the management options.
Step 2: Archiving or Deleting the Spotting Area
After clicking the settings button, a right-hand bar will slide open, presenting you with two options:
Archive the Spotting Area: Choose this option if you want to deactivate the Spotting Area without losing its data. Archiving makes the SPA inactive and removes it from the active view, but all data associated with it is preserved.
Delete the Spotting Area:
Select this option if you want to permanently remove the Spotting Area. Note: This action will delete all data associated with the SPA and cannot be undone.
Only choose this if you are certain that you no longer need any information from the Spotting Area.
Step 3: Confirming Your Action
After choosing either "Archive" or "Delete," you may be prompted to confirm your decision.
Review your choice carefully and confirm if you are sure.
By following these steps, you can efficiently manage your Spotting Areas, ensuring that your workspace remains tidy and relevant.
